Key to Mijas Costa #98

I can’t believe that 2014 is almost over. Where did this year go to? I think this year has been eventful for all of us and maybe all that remains to be said is we looking forward to 2015 now!

We are always so pleased when we are told that there is so much interesting information in the Key to Mijas Costa and this December issue is no exception. Highlights are as follows:

It’s all action again at the Hippodrome and after a successful Autumn Cup, an even bigger International Show Jumping event will take place - The Winter Cup - from 27th January to 15th February and then from 24th February to 15th March. This event brings with it the family and friends of the competitors as well as show jumping fans from around the world which can only be good news for local businesses and restaurants. Please see page 22 for more information. On a completely different note, if you are in the unfortunate position of seeking a divorce from your spouse and you are domiciled in England or Wales (even if you reside in Spain) then there is some very helpful information written by an experienced specialist on page 47. Mijas Costa’s best Restaurant Guide begins on page 52 in this issue. With Hogmany and Burns Night coming up, we thought you may be interested to learn some more about Norval’s Sensible Scotch Whisky which is available in Mijas Costa. You will find this on page 67. I have been saving the best until last. We will have our very own Mijas Rock Malaga Festival in La Cala in 2015 – wow! Please see page 65 for more information. Again this initiative will bring an influx of visitors which can only be good news for Mijas Costa.
