Key to Mijas Costa #96

Autumn is fast approaching and I hope that you have all had a very busy and enjoyable summer. I always look forward to this time of year when it starts to cool a little and there is so much happening for the residents too.

Firstly, the Holistic Section of the magazine has now become a reality and you will find this on pages 19-22. I welcome all the therapists old and new, especially Aly Farmer who will be writing interesting articles for Key to Mijas Costa about how to counteract problems you may be faced with during the menopause. The first one appears on page 22.

If you are a small business, do you have a Facebook page? If the answer is no and the reason is simply that you don’t know where to start, then please turn to page 24 and read Fiona Catchpowle’s interesting article or better still, join us at the Facebook for Business Seminar to be held on 18th September.

There is still so much going on in the municipality of Mijas for autumn, not least the Mijas Feria and the Day of the Tourist in Mijas Village. Autumn time is also when a number of the charities hold their annual fund raising events so please give generously and enjoy! Information can be found on page 32 and also on Key to Mijas Costa Facebook page.

If you enjoy the theatre, then you will be pleased to learn that the Salon Varietes will be reopening on 1st September. Highlights of the autumn season can be found on page 33.

We hope as always that you enjoy our restaurant guide, the most comprehensive in Mijas Costa, which starts on page 49. We welcome the new and returning restaurants in the Restaurant Reviews.

Coming soon... Our next project, a new restaurant guide, www.restaurantscostadelsol.com. See page 65 for more information.

Looking forward to seeing you again in October for more of what is happening in Mijas Costa and beyond!
