Key to Mijas Costa #102

We are extremely grateful to professional photographer, David Rodriguez, for allowing us to use his photograph of Soloptical poster girl, Maryna Pukhyr, taken on the Mijas Costa Boardwalk as it winds its way past El Oceano Beach Hotel. Don’t forget that we continue to run the competition for Front Cover photos, so please keep sending them in.

At last the property market seems to be picking up. Two reputable agents in the area are advertised on pages 3 and 47. If you would rather stay put or would like to “tweak” your property so that is sells more easily, the qualified Civil Engineer advertised on page 47 can help you with all arrangements and on the following page 48 you will also find a selection of experts to help you with your renovation works.

We welcome back Aly Farmer into the magazine who can advise ladies on how to deal with hormone imbalance during the hot weather.

I am also pleased to be part of the “Cudeca Goldies” Team who are putting the fun into Fundraising on the Coast. They have a very special project which will be announced at the Moonlight Gala Dinner at the Lew Hoad Tennis Club on 27th August. Other upcoming events are the Garden Party and Tennis Festival in September, again at Lew Hoad – see page 34 and a “Pumpkin Party” to be held at the Tamisa Golf Hotel on 30th October, details of which can be found on page 31.

There is plenty happening in the municipality of Mijas throughout the year. Some of the forthcoming events are highlighted on page 32. Up to date information is of course available on Key to Mijas Costa Facebook page.

Last, but by no means least, our restaurant guide can be found from pages 52 to 67 in this issue, with some great new ones on page 66.

Enjoy and see you again in October.
