Welcome to all of you who are here on the coast at this time of year. For those businesses that have taken a winter break, we look forward to having you back in the spring and for those of you going back to visit family over the festive season, we wish you a safe journey and much joy with your loved ones.

Have you seen those adorable puppies on page 28? Macfin Rottweilers have a new litter of Pedigree pups which will be ready to take home early in the New Year so if you can give one of them a good home, give Graham a call.

On a completely different note, we thoroughly enjoyed the introduction of Bunny Lane and friends to the Smile Bar in Fuengirola on 1st December and know that you will too. Great that you can see Bunny so close to home now. A fun night of adult entertainment, especially during the cooler evenings. See page 61 for details.

Sticking with events, we have enjoyed some more during the last couple of months and share some of our snapshots on page 63 with you. We look forward to more in the coming months.

On a different note entirely, if you enroll on the “padron” before the end of December you will be entitled to a discount on your 2012 IBI payment. Please see page 74 for details. Every little helps and the Town Hall gets 180 Euros from Central Government towards funding the costs of services in Mijas Costa for each person enrolled.
