Easter has been and gone and to be honest when writing this, spring had not yet quite sprung! However, everyone is busy getting things ready for the coming season and we are proud to welcome so many new and returning clients into this April issue of Key to Mijas Costa for you to enjoy with us.
In case you are not aware, the big news is that as per the election promise, the Town Hall has re-instated the Calypso Market in Calahonda which is held every Thursday morning from 10.00 to 14.00 and is already proving to be a very popular event.
We are delighted to welcome on board Atletico Las Chapas, the brand new football club on the Coast that everyone is talking about. FA approved coaches training boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 14, finding the stars of tomorrow. So if your child is football crazy, this is the place to go. See page 5 for full details.
Please help the Positively Pink Charity to ensure that British women can continue to receive free annual breast screening here on the coast. Details of events and how you can help can be found on page 9.
During this issue not only will the F1 take place in Cataluña, but you will also be able to see the new season’s Moto GP to include two races in Spain, one in Jerez and the other from Cataluña. See full racing calendar on page 38.
New legislation has recently come into force regarding health and safety at work. For more information see page 46.
Last but by no means least we have an excellent restaurant guide in this issue with many now open for the summer season. See the Restaurant Guide and Review from pages 51-67.
Enjoy the April issue and I look forward to seeing you all again in June.
